"My
Sister's Puppy" My sister got a puppy yesterday. He is such a pain.
He does everything in a messy way, And drives me insane. He stepped on
mom's clover, And peed on the floor. He knocks everything over. At
night, he scratches on my door. He breaks my toys. He won't play ball.
He makes too much noise. I don't like him at all. But sister says he's
going to stay No matter what I say. |

G. Grade 6 "Inside My House
. . ." I hear the crisp sound when you turn the
pencil in the sharpener I see my sisters all gathered together on the
couch. I smell yummy snickerdoodle cookies baking in the oven. I taste
the fresh cookies melting in my mouth. I feel the softness of my purple pillow
when I lay on it at night. I feel love all around me when my family is
gathered together. I hear, I smell, I taste & I feel. Five senses
I am very grateful for. |

sitting on a hilltop, the sun shines down on me, There's a mix of red and

K. Grade 6 "Getting
Ready To Play In The Snow" I'm getting ready to play in the
snow, It is going to be so fun. I really like to make snowmen, Especially
in the sun. I'm getting ready to play in the snow, I'll get my brother
John. I will eat my breakfast very fast, Then I'll get my hat and mittens
on. I'm getting ready to play in the snow, My backyard is so big.
My brother is taking long to eat, He's eating a giant fig. I'm getting
ready to play in the snow, We will have a snowball fight. Suddenly I realized,
John's snowsuit is too tight. I'm getting ready to play in the snow,
So I will call my best bud Bo. Bo calls back and says, "Oh wait!
There is no snow!" |
