  • 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Program details:

  • This exciting new program offers children an opportunity to read to certified therapy dogs.
  • These furry friends will listen while children practice their reading skills in a relaxed environment.
  • The dogs; Aces, Beamish, and Dudley; are certified therapy dogs and their handlers are carefully screened to provide a safe, fun experience for children involved in the program.
  • All volunteer dogs are certified through Therapy Dogs international and must meet stringent temperament, obedience, and health requirements.
  • Program will be held in the children's programming rooms.
  • Advanced registration is required.
  • Sponsored by the Fox Valley Humane Association and the Appleton Public Library.
  • Free
